DA Hike News 2024: The Central and State Governments have recently announced the dearness allowance increase. As such, employees who get dearness allowance must know about the latest dearness allowance completely. The dearness allowances have their difference representation within the central government and state government along with the different types of dearness allowances that differ from pay commissions.
But recently the dearness allowance was increased from 50% to 53% by the Central Government and on the other hand increased from 46% to 50% by the State Government. Currently,dearness allowances are provided to employees as explained above. Now an important information pertaining to dearness allowance is going to be released for employees within Madhya Pradesh.

The àla that no employee shall suffer from higher prices receives an increase in dearness allowance. The coming new year may shower the higher dearness allowance possible from the Madhya Pradesh state government as a gift to the government employees of the state. This will provide dearness allowance to over 7 lakh employees of the state in the increased amount.
It was previously done with so many increases as given by the state government vis-a-vis the central government, but now the state is delaying the increase in dearness allowance and bothering employees to demand an increase in dearness allowance. This week, according to the latest news, Madhya Pradesh is preparing to announce the dearness allowance for the employees.
Decision to increase dearness allowance
The announcement to increase the dearness allowance shall be made on any applicable day and shall become the last decision for every employee employed by the state. In the same announcement, the dearness allowance could be effective from this January 2025. The final decision for increasing the dearness allowance for employees should be approved by the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh State, Dr. Mohan Yadav.
The present dearness allowance given to the state government employees and pensioners was fixed at 50%, and it was made effective from January 1, 2024. This was after the central government last made an announcement on it and implemented it for the whole country from July 1, 2024, due to which these national employees are now receiving a dearness allowance at a rate of 53%.
