DA Hike Update: Dearness allowance to employees increases two times every year. The first enhancement will take place in January and the last in July. How Is DA Allowances Increased

Basically, the All India Consumer Price Index is an index that tracks consumer prices in the country. These figures have been announced every month. However, the AICPI index (i.e. All India Average consumer price index) is up to October 2024. The AICPI index data for November and December will then define the percentage that DA is likely to be determined at.

Talking about the index of the month of October, the AICPI index is at 144.5 in October. According to it, DA can be 55.05 percent. Looking at the next two months of November (AICPI index in November), there is a possibility of reaching 145 points in the month of November, because of which there is a hope for the dearness allowance of employees to be about 55.59 percent. Talking of new figures in the month of December (AICPI index in December), 145.3 for the AICPI index in December may be the number.
